Design your Home to Sell
Now that you’ve decided to
sell your home and move it is
important that you prepare it to
sell fast. The old days of just
sticking a “For Sale” sign in the
yard and receiving several offers
are gone. It is important do the
necessary work in order to make your
home as appealing as possible. The
first of three steps required to
achieve this is De-clutter and
De-personalize. This essentially
entails pre packing with moving
boxes and other moving supplies to
clear out the extra junk that
clutters most homes. Additionally,
it is important to pack away the
personal items that hinder people
from viewing the house as their own.
Second, it is important to Deep
Clean and Repair. This is not a
quick touch-up of dusting and
vacuuming, but instead more of a
Spring Cleaning by trying to clean
those hard to reach often ignored
parts of your home. Also, it is
necessary to make those minor
repairs that you may have been
putting off.
Finally, it is important to
Design your Home to Sell. This is
not traditional decorating but
adding accents that have mass appeal
and are more neutral in nature. |
