uBoxes charges taxes according to each state's requirement. We may be adding different state taxes from time to time according to each State's tax rules for business. The states listed below is the current list of tax collection states.
Need a Tax Exemption?
Resellers and all businesses claiming tax exemptions must submit to uBoxes a certificate for tax exemption to be in compliance with State Laws. uBoxes is obligated to collect taxes on any order if a tax exemption certificate has not been filed with our office beforehand. Shall you place an order before a tax exemption is on file we will provide a one-time 7 day grace period of filing and waiving the taxes for a credit to your invoice. Please request a tax exemption at [email protected].
Customer Service turn around time for a tax exemption updates is generally within 24 hours after submitting a copy to our office. The customer account will then be flagged in the system to void taxes on future orders.
